From Termite: "I think a national call should be put out to organize the whole nation to march on Crawford (it could be where people just go there when they can arrange a trip, a year long presence of influx after influx, possibly a million people a day) on the scale of MJK freedom march back in the 60's. wouldn't that blow the bush controlled media out of the water!"

Yes, go to Crawford. Make reservations ahead since it will be happening through August. I am going in 10 days, will probably bring my teen too. If Mr.bush actually talks to Cindy before, we will still go protest the war and ask "why are we still there?"

I would love to be there now, but cannot afford to. And people will continue to be needed. Go to some Camp Casey.

So my fellow DUer theHandpuppet is in Crawford, and she spent all Sunday at Camp Casey just meeting people and talking to them.

She met two women who had been on a trip and decided to detour several hundred miles out of their way just to visit Crawford! They couldn't stay long, but they had wanted to be there and see for themselves what was going on.

Word is spreading, the place is becoming a beacon for those of us who know this country is in trouble.

Yours was one of the handles she mentioned when we talked. She said it was difficult finding DUers in the crowd and suggested that you guys start writing a DU on nametags or putting on some buttons.

Said she also "recruited" more members for the board, including one very enthusiastic Texas couple who lived in a town that makes Crawford look like a bustling metropolis. The husband said he couldn't wait to get home and onto the internet so he could check DU out. So the traffic to Crawford runs both ways!
