Need a link - Company that produces petroleum from waste |
|
I'm quite sure I saw this here at DU, must be two years ago. It was a lengthy story about a relatively young company that had developed a cost-effective method for deriving petroleum from waste and biomass, and which had the potential of producing gasoline from garbage (actually, pretty much anything), through essential polymer science.
I recall that their main plant was in Oklahoma, but I may be mistaken about that. The story went into some depth about the process involved.
Does this ring a bell for anyone? I've tried googling but no luck. I thought I had bookmarked it but evidently not....
Thx in advance for any help.

I think the story I saw was the Newsday piece.
Thanks Arger68, and also to everyone else who responded.
