Bush Numbers continue to Plummet on All Fronts
Edited on Mon Aug-15-05 09:34 AM by louis c
President Bush's numbers continue to drop.

The consumer index is at a 21 month low in Rasmussen's daily tracking.

The President's job approval on 3-day tracking matches his low for the year, and the 7-day tracking is 3 points lower than his lowest point of the year.

Even the 'war on terror" which had Bush at plus 20%, has Americans evenly divided and pessimistic.

Some DUers think that these poll numbers, which are confirmed in every poll in the last month, are irrelevant. I disagree.

We have lost elections in the past by the narrowest of margins. 1 or 2 points can make all the difference in the world.

As we try to convince our fellow citizens that our cause and the truth are important, we must carry this momentum to the next election.

after all, what choice do we have?

13. Kerry won by 3-5%. It made no diffference. As long as they control the
counting, poll numbers mean squat.

We got the most votes in 2000.
We got the most votes in 2002.
We got the most votes in 2004.

But they counted the votes.
Wheteht we gain one or ten percent.
It doesn't matter.

We will never win the house, senate or presidency.
Unless the voting is by verifiable paper ballots.

14. And even the paper ballots is just the
first step in a long slow slog to a better election system.
