whow--Krautman just said this on the news-he cauld himself-and added-i say this with all due respect. he was saying that the new Iraqi constitution will have no rights for women. whow.

5. Sure this is what "they" died for ...
... to promote subjugation of 1/2 of the Iraqi population. I guess it's not a human rights viloation if it's women that are disenfranchised.

The hostility is not directed you Mike_C, I just can't respond to the idea of this w/out hostility

6. I understand, and completely agree....
This is a shocking betrayal of the last shreds of rationalization for Bush's little elective murder fest. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: the world, and especially the Iraqis, were much better off when Saddam Hussein was their president than they are today or will be in the foreseeable future.

He was just glad that the USA was killing Arabs. So many neocons dress up the rationale for war by saying they are for Women's Rights. How is killing husbands, fathers and sons promoting Women's rights?
