It is outrageous that the media talking heads are giving Georgie a pass on his statement about needing to get on with his life and how he works so hard by bike riding. At a time with record casualties in Iraq, record gas prices, Iraq reconstruction in disarray and investigations about White House officials leaking classified information to retaliate against someone who exposed their WMD lies, Bush goes on a five week vacation thumbing his nose at all Americans and in particular parents of soldier who have died because of him.

8. He's doing well questioning the Iraqi woman.

His major question is "Who are we fighting there?" He comes at it from many angles, but she hems and haws. She won't say the truth, that many of the insurgents are Iraqis. Clearly she's a set up. I think a TRUE Iraqi would say some Iraqis want to insurgents defeated, some ARE insurgents, and that some insurgents aren't Iraqi.

But, SHE WON'T say that. She's a prop.

There is a strong attempt right now to claim that the insurgency is totally due to foreign influence. To allow anything else to be said is to admit that SOME Iraqis don't want us there. That some of them DON'T see us a liberators.

That doesn't fit the administrations framing of the Iraq situation. You could see both of the pro-war women struggling to not break out of the meme. Clearly coached and biting their tongues.

You don't have to bite your tongue when all you speak is the truth.
