Just ask the shepherd who was almost shot because he was standing near where a suspected IED had been reported. Ask the grandmother who was frisked in her own living room because she might be hiding explosive devices. Ask the mother who had her kitchen overturned during a search for explosives.

How long will there be violent strife in Iraq? Ask the children who have seen their elders mistreated.
