!!! Gas now $2.69 in my area! |
|
Can't do diddles about it but it seemed like only in December it was $1.79...
What's it like in your area, and how badly have food prices gone up?
(yeah, we can't do anything about it but it's still a catharsis. A release. Blowin' steam.)

3. I remember when it was less than a dollar |
|
it wasn't that long a go. Only a few years, it seemed like when I first got my license in 01 I didn't think anything of going to the gas station. Now it's taking me to the poor-house...I barely have any money for booze anymore :P

Martha's Vinyard and Nantucket are over $3.00. Both food and gas are getting beyond my means.

5. If our military didn't subsidize fuel prices... |
|
...you'd consider that a bargain.
But at $400,000,000,000 a year, I'm not sure where the bargain is.

17. $2.40 on base here in DC |
|
I was surprised! I haven't been on for a long time, and it was like 20 cents cheaper than the gas stations off base. Guess where I'm gonna be filling up!
