An interesting thing about Teflon.
Once it gets scratched, it doesn't work anymore. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Bush is now done as a credible political force. His continuing slied in the polls proves that. Just the fact that those polls are getting published proves it.

This may not be enough to stop him from doing something totally crazy--we all know what that might be--but whatever he does will not carry the automatic approval of anything like a majority of the people anymore.

His press will go from bad to worse. People who were either to sychophantic or too scared to dig will start investigating things now. The Big Guys (Bilderbergers, Illuminati, Lizard People, whatever you call them) have pulled off ther protection now. This does not mean that we win. Far from it, in fact. It merely means that the faces that the Masters show us are going to change. We may think we like the new ones better, but the important trends will continue. CAFTA. Weakening of Big Labor. Tightening of the grip on the 3d World's resources.

It may be Hillary, it may be McCain for all I know. It'll be a genetler-looking face, and there will be a respite in some things, just as there was under Clinton. But we are still owned; we are, as Charles Fort used to say, cattle.

3. Sort of. If you are a parrot.
Rumor has it that teflon is inert, and will not react in any way with your body. So, teflon flakes from a pan are mostly harmless. However, fumes released when overheating it are bad.

Birds seem to be affected even by fumes which are released at normal cooking temperaturs, and can be killed by them. So don't keep your bird in the kitchen, and check out the air flow in your house.

For humans, you would have to heat the teflon to 300 degree celcius (572 degrees fahrenheit). If you can reach that heat at home, you must have a powerful oven! Anyway, if you happen to manage that, the fumes can cause polymer fume fever.

2. Give them Beast Rabban
and when I send my Darling Feyd-Ruatha to them, they will worship him as a savior!

Or something to that effect.

With Dick Cheney as Baron Vladimir Harkonnen.

Not much longer and Bush should be on the exit ramp.
