Local TV (Oakland, CA) Fox affiliate covered cross downing on news |
|
KTVU TV covered it on the 10 PM news.
Note: This is a Fox affiliate, but it isn't Faux news. Their coverage is usually pretty fair.

5. They just said that it had occured... |
|
They didn't have any pictures. They had just done a piece on Cindy, with pro & con interviews with supporters and detractors. They went to a break, and when they came back, they added the bit about someone driving over the crosses. Seems like they had just heard about it.
I was actually getting ready to call them to report it when I saw them talking about the crosses. I've called them before (asked why they weren't covering the DSMs), and they were very receptive, took all the info etc.

The first nite of the Iraq invasion I was downtown with the S/O marching in impromptu protests in the Mission. We took a break and went to Tommy's Joynt to eat, and in comes a channel 11 remote crew. The news bimbo wanted to interview diners about how they felt about the invasion. My partner and I tore her a new asshole, called her a media whore and cheerleader for the war, and we ran the fuckers out of the place with no interviews because they couldn't do them with us screaming at them, then went back to our meals.
Heh!
