2. Brother Bernie's scoop...
was from an email directly from Crawford, Texas. More indications that Bloggers are doing journalist's work these days.

4. In regard to the Iraqi woman who showed up to protest Cindy...
The one who is married to the "Voice of America" reporter (!)...

Matthews did put her on the spot when he asked her who were fighting the U.S. soldiers in Iraq. She couldn't answer him coherently (& I'm not talking about her ability to speak the English language).A few minutes earlier, he made the other anti-Cindy protester standing beside her look just as uninformed.

He was clearly impressed with Cindy. He talked respectfully to her, & at the end of the interview, he asked her if she planned to run for congress. After she said no, he said, "You should. You know more than most congressmen." He was dead serious.

I believe in giving someone credit when it's due & I thought Matthews treated Cindy very fairly tonight. It was no "Wiffleball" tonight -- except for the two clearly uninformed anti-Cindy protesters.

5. Is Tweety off his meds?
I thought I was going to fall over laughing when he did the interview with the "Young Republican" totally called him on being a Chickenhawk. Now a positive spin on Cindy?
