When I first read the above quote - I was speechless -- how could such a callous and unfeeling statement come out of someone's mouth.... Then, I got angry.

One Thousand Eight Hundred and Fifty-Two dead as of Monday 8/15/05 -- and the champion of "compassion" is concerned with getting on with HIS LIFE??

No - I say - he is not a compassionate anything - he's the poster boy for hubris, arrogance, and self-centerness.

and then to read about the bush-bots driving over crosses in Crawford - this is how they support the troops?? Meanwhile - bush goes on with b]HIS LIFE.

i had posted the above in another thread a couple of days ago... but it fits so well with what you are saying in your thread today, that i am reposting it here ....

bush has let out his goons hoping their intimidation of sheehan might scare her out... in the meantime i believe the sheriff of crawford texas might be in on it--because, why would he, otherwise, tell cindy sheehan that he would sleep more peacefully at night if she were to spend her nights at the Crawford Peace House... Goons come in many guises...including those of ALGUACILES (MEXICAN WORD FOR SHERIFF) and Crawford has a goon sheríff... bush is intent on making war on anyone, or anything that does not keep his word sacred, worship his image, lights votive candles to him while he sleeps, or takes a stand to out his lies and let the truth shine out.

i was angry the other day. today i am hurting for all the brokenness and broken bones that bush's narcissism is causing so many,including those who are on a quest for truth.

the chief of goons is afraid of the truth and so are the goons themselves.
