Top-secret Republican plan to win the next election... |
|
Lie and deceive. And name-call and character-assassinate their opponents, especially if they feel threatened by them, starting with Hillary Clinton. Blame the military failure in Iraq on Clinton and the Democratic Party failure to build up the military during the 90's. Use the word "liberal" to define their opponents at every opportunity. Accept responsibility for nothing. Accuse Democrats of being "big-spenders" and anti-tax cuts. Blame the high gas prices on the Democratic opposition to building more refineries. Accuse Democrats of wanting to "cut-and-run" in Iraq. How should the Democrats respond?

2. The question is - will Dems get all involved in reacting to character |
|

assassintions and lies or will they devote energy to making sure the vote is not stolen?
All of the possible ways they can attack mean nothing if they can also steal the vote.
We can't let them steal again or the energy responding to any of the above is a waste of energy.
No Republican voting machines. No Republican software. No Repoublican technicians. No Republican corporate networks paying for the exit polling an dmanipulating it any which way the want. No Republican corporate networks calling the elections.

Republican is the dirty word now, being a liberal is a refreshing change and a course in the right direction.

5. Dems should respond early and often |
|
as Governor Clinton did in 91-92. I have no idea who the Dems will nominate but if its Hillary Clinton the republicans better eat their wheaties.
Do - Pay James Carville a lot of money Do - Have in place an active response team Do - Fight back hard and instantly

7. but what's the message? |
|
Should they also rush back to the center and 'triangulate' all the Republicans' issues away from them just to score points? What about the agenda?

- Balanced Budget (trickle down is a total failure just like the republican party) - Cut tax relief for millionaires - No privatization of social security (put it in a lockbox just like President Gore said we should) - The constitution is a shield not a weapon (great message that conservatives have no concept about) - Alternative energy sources - Get out of Iraq (a great short term solution is to stay their and stabilize - just how long is short term?) - Push for gay marrige (refer to constitution as a shield) - Make separation of church and state an issue, a big fucking issue.
Republicans have provided the number one selling point for democrats. THEY ARE NOT REPUBLICANS.

12. If I were a democratic candidate for office |
|
(which I'm not, and won't be) I'd proudly tell anyone who would listen that I was not a member of the party of hate, the party that wants to institute a state religion, the party that wants to keep people who love each other from getting married, the party that cares not about budget deficits, the party that has no concept of right and wrong when it comes to welfare, the party that opposes activist judges unless they act on behalf of the party that hates. In other words, the best reason to vote for me is that I AM NOT A REPUBLICAN. I hope this has answered your question.
I spent 24 years serving our country in the military. I sincerely believe the republican party and its base are the number one domestic enemy of the constitution.
