Just Sent this to the CNN News Tip Link
I sent this through their news tip link on CNN's home page. Who wants to join me. I thought it ironic that the news I was pointing out came from one of their own stories. Anyway, here's my e-mail to CNN News Tips

**I thought I might point this out to you. I found it buried in the last paragraph of YOUR story about a woman's private divorce. I hope you will devote more than a brief paragraph to this important story about the desecration of crosses bearing the names of our fallen troops in Iraq** FYI-if you need more info, the driver apparently was arrested. I'm sure you have the phone number for the Crawford Sheriff's office.

from your story: Last paragraph of story about Cindy Sheehan's divorce.

"Late Monday, a pickup truck tore through rows of white crosses that stretched about two-tenths of a mile along the side of the road at the Crawford camp.

The crosses bore the names of fallen U.S. soldiers. No one was hurt."

1. News Tip
You can go to the bottom of CNN's home page and there is a "contact us" link. That link takes you to a page where you can select sending CNN a news tip.

I wonder if we can generate the power of the internet for good. Let's take a page from the Reich Wing and bombard the MSM until they cover this story.

2. ....... no one was hurt?"
Millions of americans and soliders are hurt by this ridiculous unethical, immoral action. that man should stand trial by standing in front of armed soliders and ask him to repeat what he did late monday. we'll see how far he goes!

6. What's Sad is that in the Freakers Minds
Their crosses are good. Our crosses are just "trash by the side of the road".

And they wonder why state sanctioned religion scares people so much.

4. More god damn hypocritical asshat repukes
Edited on Tue Aug-16-05 10:35 AM by libhill
showing how "they support the troops" - what a bunch of disgusting anal cysts. I swear to God, if I hear one more conservative jack ass talk about supporting the troops, I'm gonna bust the son of a bitch in the mouth. They don't even respect our war dead, and this sort of thing proves it. I have more respect for a piece of maggot infested road kill than I have for Republicans and their ass hat supporters. And where the hell were the so called Law Enforcement Officers when this kind of crap happens? Out eating fukking donuts, or harassing Cindy's supporters? I've lived in Texas most of my life, but if I had the means I'd leave this stinkin' state and never look back.

5. Thanks for doing that!
I sent emails to a variety of CNN addresses last night. They are intentionally ignoring this story.

I'll be sending more to them shortly.

10. What if they got 75,000 news tips from DU?
What is it going to take to make us stand up and scream at the top of our lungs; "I'm Mad as Hell, and I'm Not Going to take it anymore!"?

If this were a conservative churches crosses mowed down, it would be covered like the Natalee Holloway Story.

7. This is awfully presumptuous of you
Expecting these "journalists" to report real news?

Next you'll be expecting the President to be accountable.

12. Please consider calling; I held for a real person, 404-827-1500
And please be nice to those who answer the phones -- they're not responsible for CNN's content, and have a thankless job.

Seriously, you're right. In the Bush economy, the people answering the phones are probably in India anyways.

Refering to Cindy Sheehan, an article you just published.

"Late Monday, a pickup truck tore through rows of white crosses that stretched about two-tenths of a mile along the side of the road at the Crawford camp.
The crosses bore the names of fallen U.S. soldiers. No one was hurt."

....no one was hurt? WHAT? Millions of americans and soliders are hurt by this ridiculous unethical and immoral action. How dare you say no one was hurt. It appears CNN is applauding this type of action. Whats worse you guys deliberately post this article on your site that is hard to distinguish from the other garbage/advertising. This is a front page story and CNN needs to do a better job reporting more on this subject.

Americans are realizing now this war isn't justified and are taking action by opening Casey Camps across the nation, to bring the troops back home! If CNN denies the coverage this story deserves, then CNN must not want to give voice to the men in iraq, who knows this war is unjustified and immoral. Everyone of you at CNN should be ashamed of yourselves for not giving the diginity every fallen solider derserves and the voices from our men in iraq to be heard! SHAME ON YOU CNN!

18. CNN just reported on the crosses
Cindy was interviewed. Report was about 3-4 minutes.
Talking about the growing tensions between crawford residents and Camp Casey. Another Camp Casey soldier had a short clip, about how five of the crosses stood for his friends.
