Isn't being anti-war also being pro-life? |
|
Edited on Tue Aug-16-05 02:02 PM by Swede
War means death,no war mean no death. Ergo pro life.
On edit: I know the term "pro-life" is co-opted by the right, but it should sink into their thick skulls that anti-war is a good thing.

1. Yes.. but then you start getting people talking about abortion |
|
and choice and pretty soon all discussion of the war gets dropped by the wayside. At least in the conversations I have witnessed.

2. Stop trying to confuse me with the facts! |

Pro life is only pro life when you are trying to control someone else's bodily functions. When there is money to be made and oil to be stolen, war becomes prolife.
Is that clear enough for you?

3. I am anti-war, pro-choice. |

Does that make sense? More so than the pro-life, pro-death penalty, pro-war gang.

I personally am both pro-life and pro-choice. I'm pro-life in the policies I believe in that make life but in the end I know I can't control what someone else does. God gave us freewill and choices and consequences.

But there are folks who are anti-war who are pro-capital punishment, and vice-versa.

Like in WWII.
I don't think it's as black as white as you described it.

And also not being for the death penalty. Too many times you get innocent people. Why are they so pro- death penalty but claim to want to save the babies? :eyes:

when it is fetus' that go to war.
It is frustrating but that is the way these morons think. My Mother is pro-life (ok anti-abortion) but pro-death penalty. I have tried to change her but I might as well try to move a brick wall with my skull (I would probably feel better.)
