In the poor side of Providence, RI. Closer to home it's $2.67-$2.75. when is someone going to speak up for us, and condemn these record prices and record profits?

Premium is now at $2.99 and can't seem to bring itself to break the $3.00 mark ... yet.

4. $2.53 in Colorado Springs |
|
and that's in the cheaper southern area of Co Springs. On post (Ft. Carson) it is $2.43 but when I took my car to the mechanic the other day he asked where I was getting my gas. When I told him here on post, he said it wasn't worth the amount saved per gallon because of low miles per gallon and was making my car run funny.

Gas will probably go much higher. This is all about competing with China and India, whose oil consumption is rapidly increasing. Europeans have been paying high gas prices for years, but for the most part drive more fuel efficient cars, and have vastly different driving habits than we do. Gas prices will probably affect decisions such as what type of car to drive, and where to live, especially for the working class, who will be impacted the most. Of course the emerging ruling class, namely the rich, will have no problem. Availability of gas will be their only concern.
