George Bush: Unafraid to Show the World What a Callous Jerk He Is >>>
Edited on Tue Aug-16-05 03:41 PM by Stephanie

While the Gold Star Mother waits in a ditch to speak to him, George will be enjoying a celebrity bike ride this weekend. The Frivolous President. The Leisure Activities President. The Who Cares What You Think I Have to Live My Life President. The Vacationing-est President in the History of the United States. And that's Hard Work!

President George W. Bush, an avid cyclist, will test his mettle against Lance Armstrong when the cycling superstar visits the president's Texas ranch this weekend.

1. "fellow Texan"? Hey, I drove through the Texas panhandle 15 years
ago or so, I guess I'm a "fellow Texan" too?

4. Okay, is this where we go all Republican and start talking about
Lance's infidelities?

5. Oh, give him a break.
He is an athletic superstar and the President invited him. Sure, it would be nice if he said "no," but can you really fault him for saying yes? It's good PR for Armstrong (endorsements, hello?) and I expect a lot of people would have trouble turning down the President because it would be impolite.

Flame if you must, I won't reply.

6. Refusing to reply in advance?
Doesn't speak very well for your faith in your argument.

Lance Armstrong doesn't owe shit to nobody. If he abhorred the crimes this President has committed as we do he would not spend the day giving George Bush cycling lessons. If he had a conscience.

3. Well, I guess we know what party Armstrong will support
when he decides to run for office in TX. Ugh.......

Must make for some interesting conversations with Sheryl (since she's part of the Artists Coalition and I presume more liberal).

7. Bush is an asshole! He is a callous POS! Who can say what
lance's agenda is? I would personally be so embarrassed to be seen with a War Monger. but that's just me!
