Got Back from a Gas station

Well, well, well. I just got back from an errand and a refill at a local gas station here in Bean Town. A disgruntled Bush voter loudly voiced his anger. He looked right at me, and saw me grimace at his W sticker on the bumber of his truck. And this is what he said:

"Yeah.... I know. I must've been drunk to think he was anything but a punk ass con man. He's killin us with these gas prices! Dammit!!!"

With that I said:

"Vote for a Dem."

He said:

"Maybe I will!"

The tide is turning. Tomorrow I go to a vigil in support of Cindy! Let's bring our men and women back to thier loved ones!

7. The tide is turning. Sad to say though, it's the price of gas that causes

DUH-bya made the mistake of not covering his ass at the place where everyone can see the results of his bad policies, whether they ever turn on a TV or open a papar.

I am AMAZED, but so far, none the people I've asked if they've heard about Cindy had a clue she's in Crawford, didn't know DUH-bya has a "ranch" there, that he's on vacation, and didn't know the peace vigil is going on.

My daughter would say people like that make her pro-nuclear and she doesn't mean power plants.

It's like half the nation is nothing but 2 year olds who don't see any problem until it directly interferes with their little world. Pretty sad. Tens of thousands dead, Iraq in ruins, the US bankrupt (morally and fiscally) no leadership on any issue where we need to solve some problems and the price of gas is what they are concerned about.
