Ed Shultz will be at Camp Casey tomorrow
Edited on Tue Aug-16-05 07:43 PM by ailsagirl
He'll be interviewing people. Should be interesting.

I listened to about an hour of his show today-- there were
some very cool people calling in, all very supportive of
Cindy. There was one freeper, however, who got hysterical
over Ed's use of the word "LIE" so often. Rather amusing.
(You had to hear it)

:patriot:

4. Did you hear the final minutes of Ed's show tonight?
He had a self-professed neo-con call in and he was actually very civil. He was agreeing to disagree with Ed about a lot of issues, but he made the comment that Bush shouldn't meet with Cindy because it sets a bad presedent, and that (and here's the fun part) the president is "WAY TOO BUSY to be meeting with her, especially during wartime".

Ed responded by saying "Then why is he on a five week vacation if he's so busy?"

There was a long pause by the caller and then he said "uh...um...that's a good question. I guess I never thought of it that way."

I was rollin' on the floor over that one.

5. No, I didn't hear that part...
but thanks for relating it!!

I don't agree with B.E. on everything but I think he can
certainly hold his own when some neocon tries to best him.

BTW, Welcome to DU!!
