Pious Bias Revisisted: Saletan defends himself
You may recall the hubbub about Saletan's "Pious Bias" column in which he castigated Democrats for telling fibs.

Now he's issued a defense. It doesn't quite persuade me, it might not persuade you, but it does clarify where he's coming from I guess.

For instance, on stolen election 2000, he clearly was upset that the GOP opposed letting reporters handle the task of counting ballots, but on the real issue of disenfranchisement he still doesn't seem to get it. As if. As if journalists were just a little more unencumbered we'd never suffer from racist election rigging and illegitimate government. Yea Democracy! Hurrah for our Fourth Estate!

Anyway....
