Polar Packs being sent to Camp Casey C/O yours truly
I've asked a shipping company in MA to send a box of 18 2-lb gel ice packs down to Cindy Sheehan at the Crawford Peace House. These things are awesome if you're running short of ice - just toss the Polar Pack in a freezer, let it freeze, then throw it in a cooler with some cold drinks, ham, cheese, or whatever needs refrigerating at Camp Casey. Once the pack thaws and turns to gel, throw it back in the freezer and do it all over again.

Hang in there, Cindy!! We love you!!

3. Things seem to going well. Are Americans talking about this...
are they helping out big time?

New attitude for now and in the future needed so that things like this do not happen.

Questions, intelligent answers, sense of responsibility, etc. Hopefully, people will be likely to get away with lying and stealing

If I were there, I would be there.

Can't afford to fly over.

2. That's A Nice Thought... But
... will they be shipped pre-chilled and "on-ice"?

4. Not necessary

Once you get them in the mail, just put them in the freezer for a few hours (best if left overnight), and they're frozen stiff and ready to go into your cooler.

Shipping them already frozen would incur an extra shipping charge not many of us can afford. I think the Peace House will make do.

8. That's a great idea
With these packs, it's probably best to wrap the sprained area in a towel and then press the gel pack against the sprain through the towel unless the gel pack is specifically designed for that sort of thing. These packs are designed for refrigeration, but I've used them to treat my own boo-boos once in a while.

In elementary school I would take my lunch sometime and my Mom got us those to keep our lunch cool. :) They're really very useful.

13. Something else they should get
are the water bottles where you can put one part of it that's inside in the freezer and freeze it and it'll keep your water cool for a long time.
