'Peace Vigil Mom' Gets Local Support - Northeast Ohio
"A woman camped out at
President George W. Bush's Texas ranch will get some local support Wednesday.

A national political action organization known as Move On is sponsoring candlelight vigils across the country.

Several local vigils are planned for 7:30 p.m. to support Cindy Sheehan, the mother whose son was killed in
Iraq.

Sheehan has vowed to remain in Texas through Bush's August vacation, unless he meets with her. She began her protest 10 days ago and has since been joined by more than 100 anti-war activists.

Here is the list of vigil locations:

* Cleveland -- St. Joseph Center, Rocky River Drive
* Cleveland -- Lincoln Park, on the corner nearest Pilgrim Church
* Cleveland Heights -- Fairmont Boulevard and Coventry Road
* Cleveland Heights -- Veteran's Memorial, Mayfield Road
* Lorain -- Lakeview Park, at the fountain.
* Chagrin Falls -- Gazebo at Tri-Angle Park
* Oberlin -- Tappan Square, corner of College and Main
* Akron -- Market and Main, in front of the Federal Building
* Kent -- UU Church of Kent, front steps

1. I might go to the one at Lincoln Park.
It's like a block and a half from my house. I have some commitments, though, so I hope I can make it.

2. There will be two in the Dayton, Ohio area.
It was on the news....I don't have a post link. I have not checked my mail either. I'll post it if I see it.
