Please be tolerant of other's differences, talking Crawford here
Crawford is a small town of ~700 people when Bushs are not there. Do not assume that any of them wanted the Bushs there unless they say so.

Please do not insult or make fun of them because they might have small town, rural attitudes. Do not post personal information on someone who might have been quoted somewhere as this is against DU rules and just not nice. I am intending on going to Crawford next week and might end up getting splattered all over the freeper website but we do not have to do that here.

Please be the decent people I assume you are and let others have their differences without getting off on them. Thank you.

1. Not exactly living up to your login name, Uppity...
;)

Kidding aside, I do agree there's a plce for civility. The border of that place stops before men in trucks committing vandalism.

Other than that, I have no problem with Crawford. Wouldn't want to live there myself, but I'm a big city kind of guy.

3. uppity was toward the administration
Rural areas are different that city. I wouldn't want to live in a big city myself. I like knowing who my yahoo neighbors are.

6. Even though I've complained about them and disagree with them
I know they would come help me willingly if I needed them. We all know who throws beer cans in the ditch and who picks them up and puts them in the throwers mailbox.

2. I agree
It's what I tried to convey in that last thread. Most people don't come from such small towns like that.
