RW attack on Cindy-- she's a 'tragedy pimp' NOT a 'tragedy slut'

Beck apologized for calling her a slut; said she was really a pimp. And explained why a pimp was morally worse than a slut.

In less than 5 minutes, Glenn Beck was intensely focused on smearing and discrediting Cindy.

As others have said, obviously a nerve has been hit and there is an intense drive to discredit her. It's interesting and predictable that the focus is on discrediting the messenger and that there is no attempt to discuss or even discredit the message.

Clearly, in order to discredit the message you draw attention to the message, and in bushco world NO attention can safely (for them) be turned to the message of questioning the war.

...they've reacted with smears so many times with so many people from all over the spectrum (Paul O'Neill, Richard Clark, Joseph Wilson, John Kerry--just for starters) that the public is finally getting tired of it.

Plus, Cindy Sheehan isn't some public official or policy bigwig, she's an ordinary American mother whose son was killed while he was wearing our country's uniform. Slandering her only makes decent folk (the vast majority in America, when all is said and done) sympathize even more with her.
