Ugly story on Cindy Sheehan on Pg. 3 of one of Canada's national papers |
|
Edited on Wed Aug-17-05 12:28 PM by SeveneightyWhoa
Right here: EDIT: Sorry, posted the wrong article initially. For some reason, the Page 3 article is not online. Perhaps its so intelligent people won't link to it and ridicule the idiocy? Anyway, if you have a physical copy of NP, you know what to do..
This is a 'conservative' paper, but its usually somewhat rational. This story, though, is mindboggling. I can't imagine a story so critical of George W. Bush in these pages. I guess only grieving war mothers are susceptible to attack.. It's also very 'cute' how the author adopts and reports all the right-wing attacks, even going so far as to mention her divorce, as if that is newsworthy or relevant (it may be relevant, but it is portrayed as yet another reason to attack her rather than support her).

3. The National Post would taint the fish it was used to wrap. |

I've never found it rational, only a corporate shill and a mouthpiece for the desperate cons feeling increasingly isolated in Canada.

4. The National Post has NEVER been a rational paper |
|
It was started by Conrad Black to smear everything in Canada that wasn't radical right wing thinking and the Post has continued in that vein even though their hero, Black, has been publicly proven to be the POS most of us knew he was from the beginning.
Canada.com is owned by the same kind of thinkers ergo they print the articles by a drunken maniac, no surprise there.

I meant to post a non-editorial but I can't find it on the website! It seems to only be in the print version of the paper..

...be written by David Frum by any chance? Frum, GWB's personal assleak/Canadian neo-con wannabe ex-assistant (who coined the term "axis of evil" - as Jr. can't read, write or spell), is another darling of The National Post. Just a heads up on what type of shitrag the Post is.
Lining one's birdcage with this paper would have PETA demonstrating outside your house...
