President Bush Job Approval at Lowest Level Ever Recorded by Rasmussen
and don't say it doesn't matter, please.

The reason I don't give up in the face of all this Repuke bullshit, is that I truly believe we can convince an overwhelming majority of our fellow citizens that we are the path to follow.

Bush's job approval is at an all-time low of 43% in one of the most conservative and Republican leaning polling operations in this country, so you know we are making headway, and the American people are catching on. Keep that message in focus and good things will happen.

1. Are we making headway...
..or is it getting bad enough to affect a majority now? I knew it would have to get bad to wake people up, but lets keep hope it will not have to be catastrophic.

2. Polls do matter
And that's why it would be great if our Dem "leaders" would get on the same page and crow about them a little.

21. Works perfectly...
Funny, I found your thread right in front of my eyes while you were posting the link. I was under the impression you were referring to a particular post hidden in a thread, not an entire thread - sorry. Oh, in the future if you want to link a particular post you can use the link feature at the lower right of the post (Printer Friendly | Link | Reply | Top) - Just hit it then copy and paste the http location. Handy feature in large threads.

Give your Pops a hug for me. :)

17. It'll happen
just statistically speaking. If he's around 41, the margin of error is probably 38 to 44.

5. Datapoints I would like to see
Of those who disapprove, which of them would vote for him anyway?

Cross-tabulate those who approve or disapprove with their approval ratings for:
1) The GOP
2) The Dems
3) Their own congress-critters

8. Let's DO kick him while he's down.
And use him to drag the rest of the scumbags with him. "The Republican Party saw fit to name as their head someone who was a failure at everything he had ever done---a lousy student who welshed on his National Guard service, ran 2 businesses into the ground, was drunken and irresponsible until 40, incurred multiple SEC violations, and dragged Texas down the misery index while he was governor. That such a person could even get close to the presidency is an indictment of the Republican Party and the lapdog media...etc."
When things are going your way, pour it on!

16. I have already seen this happening...
at my church. Where everyone pretty much voted for that ass. Me, I went to church with my Kerry sticker stuck to my sweater. Hee! Hee! Now I hear nothing but bad things being said about him. Last fall, one of the mothers at my daughter's school (it is at the church) and I almost got in a fist fight over it! The last thing I said to her was, "There will come a day very soon that you will feel the guilt over deciding to vote for that idiot...He is not a Christian". I can not wait for school to start up next week because you can be sure I will be conversing about it as much as is possible!!!!!

14. Considering it's Rasmussen
That is very bad for the republicans.

You're right, polls do matter. We have the 2006 elections coming up right around the corner and with ** being such an unpopular pResident you'll see more republicans trying to distance themselves from his agenda. This in turn makes it harder for chimpy to have his way and will no doubt lead to tantrums and hissy fits in the WH.

18. assuming the bastard doesn't get impeached after
dems take control of congress in jan '07....

well, "Commander Chickenshit Codpiece in Hiding" has THREE AND A HALF MORE YEARS of unfolding scandals, Iraqi war disasters and the coming economic storm to weather..

I just dont see how he can do it. Just how low will these polls go?

I think he'll be looking back at 43% as a high number

WORST. pResident. EVER.

20. Dem strategy for '06--- No more Rubber Stamps!
Tie Bush around the neck of each and every Republican candidate.
For Republican Congressmen: "You voted with this criminal, incompetent administration x% of the time". (x>80 in most cases)
For Republican challengers: We don't need someone who will aid and abet Bush's flushing of the country.
Ads can show the face of the Republican candidate and a rubber stamp of Bush's mug.

22. Where's Fox News?
Why hasn't Fox News released any polls in the past month or so?

They know that they can't skew it to 50% or above when everybody else is 41%-44%... so they're simply not going to play the poll game ;)

Just my $0.02!

David
