It used to be much worse, with individual countries and states not agreeing on times.

because I just made an ass out of myself in a different thread. I assumed it was 6:45 everywhere, because I am dumb. This one- very tounge in cheek.

so wasn't even going to point out that it was really early here on the beaches of california and the uh candlelight effect would be, um totally lost...

where untill this year every county decided whether to follow daylight savings time or not.
I'd drive the next co. over and it would be an hour later...

Was there for school.
Each county was able to decide to observe daylight savings or not.
They changed it last year I think (finally).

On edit: I guess I can see the problem, especially if you're on the East Coast and have to get up three hours early each day.
