Question about your vigil - How many vets showed up? |
|
We had a fair sized gathering in Island lake about 41 people, about five of which were veterans. I was just wondering how many vets attended your service for cindy.

I was having difficulty hearing.
One young woman spoke about her brother who was serving his third tour in Iraq. She was standing in front of me, so I could hear her.

There were 5 or 6 veterans, most notably, there was one from Vietnam who was in a wheelchair and one was an elderly gentleman.

Perhaps 10 or 12 people, but I know there was at least one vet!
