Something I was thinking about earlier |
|
I know there's hardly any way to prove that Kerry and Edwards won the election last year since there's no paper trails. We all know that Al Gore won the election in 2000 and it was supposed to be announced but then 9/11 happened (interesting timing isn't it?). I was wondering: if we take back the House and Senate can we still prove that Bush stole the elections in 2000 and 2004?

1. I'm afraid that ship has sailed. |

I'm sure historians will set the records straight in the future. It's too late for righting wrongs though. However, I think elections in the future are going to be closely monitored and harder to cheat in, unless elections are eliminated. I hope we don't let that happen.

2. I believe that one day the truth will come out. |
|
Because 57 million people (or more!!!) will never let the subject of the 2004 election die. Well maybe not all 57, but even if 1 million people never let it die.
With DU, and all of the other forums like this out there, this topic will never be closed, along with the truth about 9/11.
If only there was a way to go back and change things. sigh!

we can take back the House and Senate and we can have real hearings. Invite people like David Cobb and Cliff Arnebeck and Bob Firtakis and they know the truth.

4. The truth about Pearl Harbor still hasnt hit the American people.. |
|
all these years later. I dont have much faith in the people to get past the status quo.. instead, we just strike the ugly parts of our history from our memory.

8. Try and think positive thoughts. |
|
It's the only thing that keeps me going these days.
And besides, they did have the "internets' back in the days of Pearl Harbor.

6. wait a minute, what's this about "it was supposed to be announced?" |
|
I never heard about a Gore win getting announced on/near/whatever near 9/11 or at all.
Please elaborate, cite references, etc.
Thanks.

7. I think it's a reference to a press conference that was scheduled |
|
on Capital Hill on 9/11 by Democrats.com
It was widely speculated that at the press conference they were going to announce proof of a Gore win.
They weren't, but they were working on a fresh push to dredge up more evidence. That evidence later came out when the Media Consortium released the results of the 175,000 over/undervotes. The actual date of the release of this evidence was 11/11/01.
It's late and I'm working from memory, feel free to use google to double check.
