governor romney pLays the war president card
In a ceremony with an honor guard, he called for recognition of sacrifices in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kosovo, and other hot spots.

''We're all concerned in America today with the high price of gasoline, but I think sometimes we forget about the high price of freedom," Romney said in an armory converted into the state's National Guard Museum.

''There are times when the price of freedom seems to go up, as it did in the great conflict known as the First World War, and then again in the Second World War, and this is another time when the price of freedom is very, very dear indeed."

Romney said the terrorists who struck on 9/11 had a ''Hitlerian mentality." Their goal was to ''bring down the government of the United States and to cause the collapse of an economy."

2. piss on Romey and piss on the war president
and piss on these fat pink skinned men who thump their chests and talk about the high price of freedom who then get into their limos go back to their lunches and fund raisers and dinners and golf games were the public's money is split up between fat pink men in ugly clothes who pride themselves on not needing government handouts like the lazy poor.

Sorry in a foul mood today.

It does make one wonder about the existence of a supreme being when these folks aren't the targets of bolts of lightning. Really it is not when bad things happen to good people that makes me dispair - it's the rose pedals that are strewn in the path of absolute shits that blacken my mood and my heart.

4. We need to remind the voters how he whole-heartedly endorsed Bush...
and all of Bush's policies.

Bush is a losing horse to hitch their wagon to.

Let's use that against the GOP in 2006 and 2008.

12. my take
we had a great repubLican governor in wiLLiam weLd.
because of that, our state has become kinda married to repubLican governors; weLd was re-eLected... then he stepped down and ceLLucci stepped in for a whiLe before winning the seat on his own; then we had the worst governor in jane swift fiLL in when ceLLucci stepped down; then romney decided he wanted to run for governor since he owned a home here (yet cLaimed tax status in utah) and the party forced jane swift out of the race.

then the eLection...

romney didn't have to go through a primary since swift dropped out.
romney ran as an 'outsider' who wiLL save the state economy since he's a venture capitaList, etc...

the dems had a rough primary fight which the 'party pick' ended up winning (shannon o'brien). she was a fucking, awfuL, awfuL candidate; she may had some good ideas i guess, but she came off as ugLy and mean-spirited during the debate.

i don't Like her - i didn't vote for her in the primary, and then i didn't vote for her in the generaL eLection (no, i didn't vote for romney either). i scraped the bottom of the barreL and threw my vote away on the 5th pLace finisher, barbera anderson (i) who finished behind the green, and the Libertarian as weLL.

so, my 2 main bLames for him winning are 1) weLd and 2) o'brien.

since mitt's been here, many of our main empLoyers have Left. maybe he's running the state as he did his first buisiness - buying up companies, dismantLing them and reseLLing the parts.
