I just talked with Linda at CPH, please bring ice if you can (ice not delivered on weekends), gallon jugs of water for cooks, soft drinks and most of all large containers for all the flowers being delivered (as simple as plastic pitchers). Also staple guns and staples.
And if anyone wants to know why they aren't just going out and buying it themselves, it is because Crawford is in the middle of nowheresville, because everyone available are running around renting U-Hauls, meeting with special event people to handle crowds, arranging press conference, getting ready for the weekend, arranging parking and there are just not enough volunteers to sending running into Waco to get it all.

I was told that they were getting a large delivery of ice today with a freezer to hold it. They declined the ice I brought. They also declined the gallons of water I brought. I am afraid there is a lot of mis-communication. If you are asked to bring something, be sure it gets to the person that asked for it. It is not surprising that not everyone knows what is needed. It is not a carefully controlled or perfectly planned operation. Be patient, be generous, be grateful that they are there.

This request came from Linda at CPH, she helps Kay and you could say she is pretty much Kay's 2nd in command.
And yes, patience all, they are doing the best they can.
