State Department rejects (but acknowledges) 9/11 "conspiracy theories"
State Department has actually acknowledged (and attempted to refute) a few skeptical views of 9/11, including a number of red herrings.

Warning: Two of the links used by the United States Department of State in support of their argument go to Rense.com, which is banned on DU as anti-Semitic.

1. That reminds me of the Air Force and UFOs
There two books put out by the Air Force and the Government Printing Office. Both trying to explain the "Roswell incident". If it is a hoax or conspiracy theory then why does the government even address it? I'm not saying these things are true but why waste the time on a falsehoods and fairy tales? Seems like the whole UFO thing may have been used as "cover" for other "black ops".

2. What a quandry. Who should I believe? State Department or Sibel Edmonds?
Edited on Thu Aug-18-05 03:52 PM by JohnyCanuck
By the way State Department, Sibel says you are full of shit and the most corrupted of the government agencies.

SE: The Department of State is easily the most corrupted of the major government agencies.

CD: That's interesting. I sometimes think of the State Department as being fairly emasculated, relatively speaking, of course not the "good guys," but surely not as evil as certain other agencies… but you have some personal experience that tells you otherwise?

SE: You asked me before about the good FBI agents and bad, which group is really in control. I can tell you, in my case, the decision to terminate the investigation and bury my allegations, this decision was not made by the FBI. It came directly from the Department of State.

CD: Really! I didn't know they had the power to interfere with FBI work.

SE: Oh, of course they do! And the agent that handled the case I was working on, that person was so frustrated. It was all stopped because the State Department was dictating to us.

3. LOL - it's all one big merry-go-round, isn't it?
Actually, that page is a curious find, and deserves some analysis. I love how they've filed 9/11 skepticism under "French Conspiracy Theorist".
