Cindy Sheehan answers Drudge on the Huffington Post
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/cindy-sheehan/memo-to-drudge-et-al-it_b_5868.html

Memo to Drudge, et al: It's Not About Me, It's About the War

Even after my repeated attempts to keep the focus of my protest on the war, the Drudge Report and others continue to try to make the issue about me. But I am not the issue. The issue is a disastrous war that's killing our sons and daughters and making our country less secure. They attack me because they can no longer defend this war.

I've come to Crawford to bring to the president's doorstep the harsh realities of a war he's been trying so hard to avoid. But no matter what they say or how many shotguns they fire or how many crosses they destroy, they're not going to stop me from speaking out about a war that needlessly killed my son.

3. Funny how even presidential candidates can't seem to be as succinct.
 Perhaps they should go to school on her focus.

4. Cindy has it so right...so glad I
could make it to a candle light vigil in support of what is being done.

I just saw on another thread that Cindy will have to leave(for just a while..I hope)because her mother had a stroke.

5. since Cindy is the target
maybe if we should change the target. Now that she has to leave temporarily to be with her ill mother, different Gold Star families can rotate in her place. What is Drudge/Rush et al gonna do? Bash all of them? Smear all the Gold Star families?

7. I may be the only one, but I wish she hadn't mentioned Drudge
It only lends legitimacy to his worthless ass. But, her words were spot on target.

9. Cindy gives me hope...
...for so long--the only people making sense and saying the things that needed to be said--were on Dem-based blogs.

Very few (you can count them on one hand) of our Dem leaders have dared to step up to the plate and call it like it is, as Cindy does.

Thank God. I feel like I can exhale. Finally, someone is speaking out against such horrible tyranny and sickening policies.

Now....why in the hell didn't John Kerry ever speak like this? And why don't many of our other Dem leaders talk like this? We are at critical mass here, and any Dem who isn't speaking like this is helping Bush and his revolting lie-based war.

10. It's the old 'shoot the messenger' Repig tactic...
...they're using on Cindy. She's very wise to just call them on it. It's indefensible.

13. Your Newsweek cover gives me an idea...
We should all write letters to Time and urge them to name Cindy Sheehan as Time's person of the year.

14. Every single DUer should contact their representatives
And ask them why it is okay for the right to pick on a grieving mother. I just cannot understand why this has become okay.
