in my dad. They now have a feeding tube in him and we fear the stroke in his brain has blinded him.

98. Oh Dear B Calm I know what you are going though.

Our family has been in this situation since 99 when my Mom had the first series of inner ear strokes, coupled with Neuropathy and Osteo-Arthritis. There have been more doctors than I can name and at least 3 different hospitals she's been to, and a few Rehab Center stays.

One bit of advice I will share. Sadly, there will come times when you are angry and frustrated and emotions may get the best of you and harsh words may be said in the heat of the moment. There'll be moments of helplessness and every other emotion you can think of.

Don't kick yourself for having these emotions. Have them. Be sad. Be angry. Get the emotions in and out of your system and bottle up as little as you can. Apologies for harsh words come easier, and it leaves a clearer head and keeps you focused on what matters. Being there for those you love.

Know that you are in my prayers.

When I was in high school (I graduated in 2001) we had a moment of silence and you could pray then (I always did). I also did before I ate and thanked God for my food and then I prayed before a test. :) I also took a Bible History class in high school.
