1. medical marijuana is the tip of the iceberg
Numerous "controlled substances" sold on the streets as illicit drugs (e.g. fentanyl, Percocet, Codeine, etc.) are very typically used as surgical anaesthetics/analgesics and have various medicinal purposes.

The fact medicinal uses exist for controlled substances is very much ignored in favor as presenting the things as some sort of "scourge" on poor communities and so on.

The fact is that drug-assisted escapism and chemical masturbations are products of socioeconomic malfeasance, and the drugs themselves and their users are victims, not offenders. The "war on drugs" needs to end period. Prison and its concomitant rape is a crime against humanity, not a proper response to any kind of true socioeconomic problem.

2. Marijuana Hemp is a threat
to BIG OIL...Agriculture....Textiles...Forestry...and surely many other big businesses..For 200 years hemp has been a renewable staple product of America, then in 1937 DuPont,Hearst,Mellon and J.P.Morgan saw Hemp as a threat, hired a political hack on in the dark of night the "Marijuana Tax Act" was created outlawing legal possession of Hemp. Its my belief legal Hemp farms could create 1,000,000 jobs in the 1st year. Our archaic laws need changing and only mass marches could have any effects...Million man/women march on Washington all lighting up at the same time...bet bush would arrest us all !! lol...

3. True that, did you know the the paper and cotton industries
were the industries that lobbied to make marijuana illegal.

Hemp is a better fabric, it is stronger, it lasts longer in paper or clothing form.

Plus if you have ever been to the hospital and taken codine, demerol, or morphine, you KNOW how high those get you.

There is no difference between the use of pot and the use of codine.

end of story.

But current TV really rocks you should check it out.

If you have direct tv it is channel 366.

4. no difference between "pot" and "Codeine"
Sorry Mel,...
I been there, the codeine pills are "habit forming".Yes at my peak when I was younger I had 10 Codeines a day.Even worse,my desires for "Uppers" were unstoppable during the 70"s when Amphetamines were readily available I had some days 20 pills...Since I have used many drugs in my lifetime I can say I have some knowledge.Thankfully, today my only enjoyment comes from smoking a joint.Generally I wait until nighttime and Melody 1 joint works just fine.Hemp should be legal, taxed and commercialized so all Americans can share the billions of dollars Hemp creates.I don't advocate legalizing any "Powered Drugs" i.e. Meth,Heroin,Cocaine and any new invented drugs...Yes,Hearst was a "Paper Giant" trees were money to him,..DuPont was a "Chemical Giant" synthetics and petro-products,..Mellon and J.P.Morgan were their bankers.Cheap renewable environmentally friendly plant like HEMP-POT-MARIJUANA was not a danger to the public but rather a danger to BIG CORPORATIONS..
Once again Mel,there is a difference between codeines and Hemp..
Please don't get mad at me....ty
