Slogan that might change an Anti-Choicers mind. |

Well maybe not, but it's sure worth a try.
Send our "former fetuses" home from Iraq.
What's your slogan?

tackle this the other day- a bushhead was at the vigil, at the end, he went around saying "Yeah!! Bush is my HERO".
i was talking to another man, but when he started yelling at a lady near me, i couldn't not speak out.- i stood and talked to him for quite awhile.-
he asked do you support abortion?
i said (honestly) not for myself, but i don't believe it can or should be made illegal (and i don't 'judge' those who make the decision to end a pregnancy as 'bad').
i don't drink alcohol and as a matter of FACT the abuse of alcohol kills thousands of people, but because i choose NOT to drink, should i then impose my own personal life decisions on others???
Getting up this am, the radio was talking about a soldier who asked for an abortion because she found out that the baby was going to be born with a very clearly terminal disease, and the VA denied her the procedure, she appealed, and again it was denied- the words that stick in my head from the 'news blurb' were "We have to protect the interests of 'potential life'".......
After all the sensless killing going on in the name of 'freedom' and security and ________ fill in your favorite 'cause' i was struck by the IRONY of that statement. Protect 'potential life' while we discount and dismiss the loss of so many ACTUAL LIVES- there has to be something wrong with my brain, because that is insane thinking.
why DON'T we wage 'virtual war'?-
(sorry, for that tangent-.... ) Abortion is a personal matter. i'd love to see a world where no one ever 'needed' to have one, but i would HATE to see this country make that necessity a 'crime' and an un-safe, life threatening, shamefilled, experience.
