Ok DUers have you signed up for Current TV? |
|
I personally think that it should be part of our activist group, with enough greenlights we can get pods about anything on air.
Why we wouldn't be doing this already is beyond me.
If you haven't signed up for current.tv please do so now.

1. It's on most Digital Cable plans |
|
So I have it (Comcast and Time Warner carry it). I have watched it a little bit. I ofund some of the stories to be interesting, and some to be boring. I still find the overall concept of Current TV to be confusing, incoherent and hard to explain in one or two sentences. Then again, I'm kind of bitter about losing Newsworld International.

..."greenlights" and "pods" and what you're proposing here. It sounds promising.
I get Current on my cable system and I like it, but it seems to rerun a lot - understandable that they need to build up a library of segments at first.

us) Anyone can make a pod, all they have to do is film it and send it to current.tv. There, those who are signed up to current, can download it and watch it. If enough people like your pod, they can greenlight it and put it on air.
Current's producers have no say in what pods they do and don't show, those who are signed up at current choose all pods that go on air.
