The polls are finally showing Bush with sub-50% approval ratings. How much does this reflect the sentiment you are seeing among friends, co-workers, neighbors?

I'm here in the GOP stronghold of North Texas... a year ago, if I criticized THE PRESIDENT "they was fighting words," but today when I talk about what's going on, where I work and shop, etc. -- no one complains or even makes a face at me -- it's almost like those who blindly supported him or weren't paying attention to what was going on, are willing or curious to hear other opinions. 'Cause most folks around here aren't happy about the state of things.
(P.S. It's important to be well groomed when running down THE PRESIDENT here in North Texas, because this area is the world headquarters of good grooming, due to the century-long influence of Neiman Marcus. If I looked like a freak or a slob, who'd take me seriously?)
