Cyclists: How much would a mountain bike like George's cost? >>>

This picture is from last year. I remember some threads last summer discussing the price of such a bike - it's in the thousands, IIRC. Lance arrives in Crawford this weekend to ride bikes with George Bush. Must be nice, huh? Lounge around for a few weeks, ride bikes, hang with celebrities. Hard work! Wonder what it's costing us?

1. Well whatever it is, you have to add the $30 for the training wheels.
And the elbow and knee pads.

:D

13. I remember reading it
was worth between 4 and 5 thousand bucks. Looks like a trek carbon mtn bike. Cannot believe he is using toe clips. An experienced rider like the W should be using clipless.

Looks like some real rough terrain there also, should be using a road bike.

22. Just another pasty, out-of-shape, middle-aged white male.
bush is so dysfunctional in so many ways. Someone needs to tell him that riding a bikey-bike won't help that flabby pot belly.

16. So Bush is doing laps on his $4000 mountain bike, inside his Waco compound
While the Gold Star Moms and Dads wait in his driveway to speak with him.

17. He rides a Trek Fuel. About $3000.
It's not really that nice of a bike, either. No disc brakes. Not so hot wheels.

I know, because I spend time on a bike forum where the guy who was there taking the pictures, posted. AND I PROCEEDED TO TURN IT INTO THE POST FROM HELL. I posted pictures of him flipping off the press.

21. Looks like a Fuel 98...
Totally inappropriate for the terrain and type of riding. But then it's a Bush Corp trademark to do things in the most inefficient way possible, and then be prideful and belligerent about it.

18. wasn't it a gift to Bush?
I remember reading several articles which indicated that the company had presented it to him.

He sure gets a lot of freebies in that job!

19. I know what it cost us LAST time he spent a month at the ranch
It cost us WTC 1, WTC 2, WTC 7, a big-ass hole in the side of the Pentagon, three thousand New Yorkers, and the constitution.

We did gain the knowledge that "The Pet Goat" is the most captivating piece of literature ever written in English. You can't put it down even when terrorists are attacking your country.
