The election was fixed when they sent Bremmer to Iraq. |
It just hit me like a ton of bricks. They had the presidential elections in the bag as early as then. Paul Bremmer was in front of a press conference with european reports and was asked "If * lost the election what would happen with Iraq"? Bremmer paused for a second and said" We don't foresee that happening."

3. I'm trying to remember... |
I bet it was about June or July before the election and Bremmer was in front of european reporters in Germany (I think?) giving a status report on Iraq. It was on some international news show (IT News ?) The reporters were throwing hard questions at him the likes the MSM never did, or would. It's the only part I remember it stood out so well. He paused, looked right into the camera and said " we don't see that happening." Right then I thought Wow, what a cocky statement. he was dead straight matter-of-fact. Sorry for the lack of links and dates. something on DU tonight brought that memory to the surface.
