Christ was probably one of the first "flip-floppers". As you get new info, you have to learn from that info. If you really believe in God,then he created that too.

1. Me either...
it's pretty arrogant to think that ours is definitely the only inhabited planet in the universe. God is God...she can do it any way she likes...including evolution.

7. Don't know what to say...
"you're welcome" sounds a little arrogant on my part. But, your "thank you" helped me out, too.

Theologically, I come in as a Unitarian Universalist here: http://www.beliefnet.com/story/76/story_7665_1.html

You are a Hillary Rodham Clinton Christian (a.k.a. "Left-Leaning Traditionalist") although to be honest I didn't think much of this particular quiz.

There are other spiritual quizzes around if you are interested in them: http://timeforachange.bluelemur.com/liberalchristians.htm#quizzes

8. Elton is one of my favorites...
I love that song. "So goodbye yellow brick road, where the dogs of society howl. You can't plant me in your penthouse. I'm going back to my plough. Back to the howling old owl in the woods, hunting the horny back toad. Oh, I've finally decided my future lies beyond the yellow-brick road."

Was that Taupin's lyrics? Funny, on that same album "Honky Cat" expresses almost the opposite sentiment.

10. Honky Cat
wasn't honky cat an anti conservative song though? Or am I looking at it from today's perspective instead of when it was written? On a side note I picked up a captain fantastic cd at borders, looking forward to playing it after Galactica replay.

12. I don't know...
maybe you're right. I just remember from "way back when" the lyrics sound to me like everybody is telling him to "get back to the woods" and his reply is "I quit those days and my redneck ways--(which, I guess is the anti-conservative part--haha)" "Like trying to get whiskey from a bottle of wine."

God, I love Elton John's music.

16. I'm not a wild Elton fan, but since I am a wild Marilyn fan I think
he was wonderful to write "Good-bye, Norma Jeane" for her. :)

17. They are no longer "UFOs." I have identified them:
IGORs = Inter-Galactic Oil Rigs. THEY have come for our oil. :yoiks:
