"The Best way to Honor the Fallen is to Finish the Job", DEAD wrong bush
Edited on Sat Aug-20-05 07:55 AM by mopaul
the best way to honor those who've fallen for bush's lies is to REMOVE BUSH FROM OFFICE and forever place his name among america's greatest shames and tragedies, and never make unnecessary war again.

1. He'd have a point if he were actually interested in finishing the job
But the only thing I have ever heard from Bush is "stay the course". Hell, last week he even said that it didn't matter how many Americans died, he wanted us to stay there because he wasn't really concerned with the loss of life.

One thing I think we should really stress is Bush's cowardice. He won't even admit to the nation that to "finish the job" we will need more troops.

That means that somehow, he has to either get those little Nazi-Youth College Repub bastards to enlist, or push for a draft. And Bush doesn't have the courage to do either.

2. We should erect a statue in his dishonor, wherever the highest density of
pigeon shit is found.

3. the trouble is,
no one has ever made clear what "the job" is. First, its to avenge 911-but oops-no one in Iraq was involved. Then it was to clear out WMDs-but oops-none were found, which anyone with a lick of sense realized before the war started, what with UN inspectors there, etc. The it was to give Iraq democracsy-but oops-they missed the deadline for drafting their constitution and there is a great possibility that women will have no rights in whatever government comes to power after the impending civil war.

4. I thought we did finish the job
when we captured Saddam and discovered his non-existent WMD's?

5. So 5,000 more servicemen have to die to honor the lives of 1,800?
Stupid argument. Heard it during Vietnam.
