Watching Bush bike with Armstrong, seeing pictures of pro-Bush protestors bringing gifts to the "Western White House", it really created the picture that if the proposed occasion is fun or if it is something that will inflate his ego or feeling of importance, Bush is available.
On the other hand if it has anything to do with responsibility, such as military duty which he signed up for during Vietnam, bad management practices which caused people to lose their shirts when the businesses he was managing went under, acknowledgement that his actions have caused people to die in Afghanistan and Iraq, or a simple meeting with a grieving mother, Bush always shirks that responsibility.
There's something very wrong with that picture.
Corrected spelling error.

4. Watching today's news really brought it into focus. |
|
I'm sure they didn't intend to make it that obvious... But they did.

3. I know it's a "no-no" to say anything less than glowing about Armstrong |
|
But his biking with Bush, especially now, really makes me sick.

6. Bush was certainly using Armstrong. |
|
Its a possibility that Armstrong was also using Bush now that he's retired. I understand that's the way things work up there in their social strata.
