Does Bush Fear the Judgement of History?
Bush doesn't seem to care what historians are going to write about him. Nixon was totally Machiavellian but he didn't want to be one of history's bad guys. That kept him from nuking the North.

With Bush, it's hard to set a limit on what he won't do. He went to war based on easily exposed lies, and he fires advisors who contradict his wishful thinking. It's possible he's so deluded he thinks history will be kind to him.

1. I believe bush once said when we are all dead history will...
know he did the right thing. I know they are not his exact words or anything but I think it was on those lines.

2. He's Answered This
He said that it didn't matter because he will be dead. Shows he doesn't believe in the afterlife. So much for his religiosity.

9. The Apoclypse according to the Bush that does not burn with Truth.
Actually Bush said that he believes we are living in the end times. So it really doesn't matter because we are all going to be dead anyway. Then there is this lil gem. "I can see the future as clear as the past." Bush has damned us. But Nostradamus he is not.

13. I don't think it really shows that
It just shows that once he's gone it won't matter what they say about him. It still shows his character though. Usually president's want to be remembered throughout history. For example someone earlier posted about Nixon. Even he wanted to be remembered as something great. So that says a lot about Bush and his whole "presidency" I think and just who he is in general.

4. Character flaw - megalomaniac - when one grows up in such a...
sheltered power hungry wealthy family, in which all of his messes were either cleaned up or covered up for him, he's obviously developed a complete inability to critically assess himself or even consider that what he proposes is wrong or inappropriate. Complete delusion - a very sick and dangerous (NOT beautiful) mind.

6. He doesn't know or care...
He's never had to pay any price for all his failures. Why should he think he will now or in the future?

I also think he actually does believe his BS and the BS fed to him. That makes him even more dangerous than just a cynical, greedy, politician. He's insulated from reality and delusional. He's surrounded with sycophants who profit from his policies.

Our Nation is in deep, deep, trouble as long as these people stay in power.

15. Bush thinks that he will write his own History that children will learn.
Bush will write his History as him being the greatest thing since killing someone for the patent on sliced bread. Saddam had the same plan. Bush will have even less success with the reinventionism of revisionist history. Think of it as his plans for a future Bush Youth.

16. One thing I look forward to
is getting married and having children and watching them grow up and when they get to US History class and get to this point I can have so much to show them if their history books fail to show it. I have Moore's film, the Kerry film, I have all the photo's and video's of the anti-war demonstrations now. So even if history is nice to Bush I'll have the truth. I'll make sure my children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren someday know the truth. I'll make sure to pass all of this along as well to them so they'll always know what a failure and thief and murder George W. Bush is/was.
