GOP uses the same tactics as any school yard bully since time immemorial |
|
Why are we giving any Republican leader credit for intelligence, e.g, Rover's brilliant strategy, etc?
Their "technique" is plain and simple -- and it's been used by every bully ever known: when you've done something wrong and need to get out of it quickly, simply make fun of your opponent, cause other people to laugh at them, make your opponent look stupid, and LIE. If all else fails, punch them in the face. This is the stock and trade of any IGNORANT, STUPID person who doesn't have the intelligence or reason to win an argument fairly.

1. Don't forget the best part |

And when the bully gets kicked in the shins, they whine and act like a wounded puppy. They also run away to Idaho for a few days.

2. Yes, but why don't strong DEMS in DC stand up and call them on it? |
|
I have a fear there is more going on to intimidate others into submission. Putting nothing past their black hearts, I wonder what little threats they make to the 'folks back home' when a Congressman gets too difficult.
Journalists, especially, should take a stand against bullies in the junta. Why be so worried about losing 'access'? They don't tell reporters anything they don't want out there anyway. When will 'reporters' wise up, stop passing on press release AND DO SOME REPORTING?
Bullies indeed. And you stop bullies by calling them on it, face to face, toe to toe, nose to nose. They can't take that sort of scrutiny.

3. Simple. They're afraid of bullies. That's why the bullies win. |

4. LOL tell 'em to talk to my brother. First time he got hit in the nose... |
|

he was so stunned that it was not as painful as he thought it would be that the guy got in a second punch. Then my bro took him down. Never been afraid to stand up to a bully since. The anticipation is ALWAYS the worst part. People need to learn that ;)
edited cuz I can't type & chew gum

9. If you don't slap the shit out of a bully the bully will be back every |
|
day to push you around! Tell him you are going to kick his ass and the hit him right on the chin instead! A bully is not nearly as scary with his jaws wired shut, drinking soup through a straw for 6 or 8 weeks. After that everyone else will take turns kicking his ass! Cindy softened Bush up already and showed our tough guys in Washington how it's done. Now the ball in in their court.

11. There is safety in numbers! |
|
Our guys don't stick together! One guys stands up to them and two more bad mouth their own guy! We need people who are not afraid to stand up with guys like Kennedy and Byrd! Joe Biden and Joe LIEberman are the first ones who come to mind, as far as running to the press and attacking our own people.
