FBI Tells Enormous Lie About Nick Berg
Michael P. Wright -- Norman, Oklahoma, USA

August 19, 2005

In a letter sent to me in response to a Freedom of Information Act request, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) tells an enormous lie. They don’t admit to having ever investigated Nick Berg. Strictly speaking, they say that their "central record" files located no records at "headquarters" to indicate that Berg has ever been of "investigatory interest to the FBI." Then they invite me to check with their various field offices. Here is the FBI letter.

It might be necessary to use the mouse to enlarge the scan:

There have been numerous news reports about Berg having been interviewed by the FBI on several occasions. Specifically, in my request letter I called their attention to a CNN report, with the bogus "stranger on the bus" story used to account for Berg’s email password being found in Zacarias Moussaoui’s possession. Both men had spent time in Norman, Oklahoma. Here is the CNN article:

http://www.cnn.com/2004/US/Northeas...

I told the FBI why I knew that story was phony, and asked them to disclose to me the real explanation for Berg’s OU computer userID coming into Moussaoui’s possession. (It wasn’t really his "password." That was a CNN mistake.)

Instead of answering my question, the FBI adopted the pretense that the agency never had "investigatory interest" in Berg! Here is a USA Today story saying the FBI met with Berg three times when he was in Iraq:

1. Since Berg is now dead...
... you can request his FBI file. I would make a specific FOIA request for that file. If he was a paid or unpaid informant, they'd have a file on him. If he'd ever been interviewed, there would be a file, too. The interesting phrase here is of "investigatory interest." That is word-playing for him being the subject of an investigation. If he were an informant, he wouldn't be the subject.

Cheers.

2. Don't these people tell the truth just ONCE???
Just ONCE I would like the truth. AH! Makes me now wonder about his death and that whole ordeal. Remember they do have torture flights.

3. So much for transparency.
There's something really, really ugly about this. Berg's association with Moussaoui and then his unfortunate demise shortly after the Abu Grahib scandal broke....I can't put it together, but there's more to this story than meets the eye. I'm sure those files are missing for a purpose.

6. Even when warned by FAA, Minn Flight School, FBI Ignored Moussaoui.
Like the government as a whole, the agency is led by traitors.

The only reason we even got Moussaoui is that US Rep. Jim Oberstar insisted the Feds investigate what the FAA and Minnesota flight school instructors were reporting they had a student interested only in learning how to turn the plane and use the GPS.

Thanks for the information, seemslikeadream. Would that our nation had you leading the press, let alone the judiciary.

FBI ignored attack warning
Flight instructor told agency of terror suspect's plan

Philip Shenon, New York Times
Saturday, December 22, 2001

Washington -- An instructor at a Minnesota flight school warned the FBI in August of his suspicion that a student who was later identified as a part of Osama bin Laden's terror network might be planning to use a commercial plane loaded with fuel as a weapon, a member of Congress and other officials said yesterday.

The officials, who were briefed by the school, said the instructor warned the FBI in urgent tones about the terrorist threat posed by the student, Zacarias Moussaoui. Moussaoui, a French citizen of Morrocan descent, was indicted last week on charges of conspiring in the Sept. 11 terror attacks.

Rep. James L. Oberstar of Minnesota, who received the briefing and is the ranking Democrat on the House Transportation Committee, said the instructor called the bureau several times to find someone in authority who seemed willing to act on the information.

Oberstar said the instructor's warnings could not have been more blunt. The representative said, "He told them, 'Do you realize that a 747 loaded with fuel can be used as a bomb?"'

Oberstar described the instructor as "an American hero" whose actions resulted in Moussaoui's arrest and might have prevented another suicide hijacking.

Hey, seemslikeadream! Remember "Fingerprint File"?

Fingerprint File

Fingerprint file, you get me down
You keep me running
Know my way around. Yes, you do, child
Fingerprint file, you bring me down
Keep me running
You keep me on the ground
Know my moves
Way ahead of time
Listening to me
On your satellite
Feeling followed
Feeling tagged
Crossing water
Trying to wipe my tracks
And there's some little jerk in the FBI
A keepin' papers on me six feet high
It gets me down, it gets me down, it gets me down
You better watch out
On your telephone
Wrong number
They know you ain't home
And there's some little jerk in the FBI
A keepin' papers on me six feet high
It gets me down, it gets me down, it gets me down
Who's the man on the corner; that corner over there
I don't know. Well, you better lay low. Watch out
Keep on the look out
Electric eyes
Rats on the sell out
Who gonna testify
You know my habits
Way a head of time
Listening to me
On your satellite
And there's some little jerk in the FBI
A keepin' papers on me six feet high
It gets me down, it gets me down, it gets me down
It gets me down
Hello, baby, mm-hmm
Ah, yeah, you know we ain't, we ain't talkin' alone
Who's listening? But I don't really know
But you better tell the SIS to keep out of sight
'Cause I know they takin' pictures on the ultraviolet light
Yes, uh huh, yeah, but these days it's all secrecy; no privacy
Shoot first, that' s right... you know
Bye bye. Who's listening?
Right now somebody is listening to you
Keeping their eyes peeled on you
Mmm, mmm, what a price, what a price to pay
All right. Good night, sleep tight

8. Thanks, Seems
I think Berg worked for the FBI, so that would probably explain why he was of no "investigatory interest".

11. Wright is a tenacious researcher
If you click through the links, you will see how he documents everything.

He's onto something big here.

The best explanation insofar as I have read and thought about this is that there is a very strong fifth column within the U.S. government. It infiltrates the FBI and the CIA. Put together what Indira Singh and Sibel say.
