Guy James reads a fascinating letter from a soldier in Iraq.
Says reconstruction is a lie, Haliburton steals Military equipment, Food served is bad, and Iraqi military run when there is any trouble, and that they would be very happy for us to leave, but not any more happy than the US Military would be to be gone from there.

Wow!

Sounds like we are winning hearts and minds!!!

Victory is right around the corner!

We are there for a noble cause!

Right.

I want to see Bush not just impeached, but imprisoned.

5. 'Ol "The Big One is Coming" doesn't give a damn
at all.

He hates America...only loves his cold, hard cash.

Cheney is just a total sonofabitch.

4. He was bold to speak out like that. No doubt they would be glad
to retaliate against any soldier who dares to contradict their perverted war.

6. How about that Marine who caught Saddam who says the story told
is bullshit.

He said the "spider hidey hole" was make believe by the military. He said Saddam was captured in a house by a team of 20 Marines (he was one) and that Saddam actually fired a weapon out of the second floor.

Does anyone keep track of these news lies?

8. I'd never heard that before. In fact, weren't
there 2 soldiers talking about his capture (and likes and dislikes) several months ago? I don't recall ever hearing he was captured in a house while defending himself. :wtf:

It's being discussed again currently. I believe it was news some months back, also, and it was stunning, still is, and COMPLETELY consistant with this administration! Can you imagine a Democratic President stooping to this kind of crap?

12. Thanks for that link so I am not referred to as NUTS!
It is stunning news in that it outs the Pentagon as liars for political reasons. I think our elected officials should know about this.

Are there any DUers who can email the Truth to our Government?

Do it.

9. The Bush Regime and the Multi-Natls.
Bush Regime Iraq Successes

1. Saddam will no longer sell Iraqi oil via the Euro.

2, A military foothold in the ME. Other than Saudi Arabia.

3, No countries will be able to buy Iraqi oil that the U.S. disapproves of.

4. The Multi-Intl. Oil Corps are reaping great profits, esp. Bush Junta fave ally Saudi Dicktatorshit.

The goal of Colonizing Iraq is still being pursued.

The Hand-Over That Wasn't: Illegal Orders give the US a Lock on Iraq's Economy
by Antonia Juhasz

Officially, the U.S. occupation of Iraq ended on June 28, 2004. But in reality, the United States is still in charge: Not only do 138,000 troops remain to control the streets, but the "100 Orders" of L. Paul Bremer III remain to control the economy.

These little noticed orders enacted by Bremer, the now-departed head of the now-defunct Coalition Provisional Authority, go to the heart of Bush administration plans in Iraq. They lock in sweeping advantages to American firms, ensuring long-term U.S. economic advantage while guaranteeing few, if any, benefits to the Iraqi people.

The Bremer orders control every aspect of Iraqi life - from the use of car horns to the privatization of state-owned enterprises. Order No. 39 alone does no less than "transition from a … centrally planned economy to a market economy" virtually overnight and by U.S. fiat.

Although many thought that the "end" of the occupation would also mean the end of the orders, on his last day in Iraq Bremer simply transferred authority for the orders to Prime Minister Iyad Allawi - a 30-year exile with close ties to the CIA and British intelligence.

13. A jumping off place to every other country in the area starting
with Iran. Is the PNAC plan I think. I think that like Hitler and Il Duce, the Axis of oil barons, Bush and Tony have plans to grab one country after another, until the World Bankers RULE THE WORLD!

17. It was sent to Guy James, who read it on his show.
Here's the link to his thread. The letter's discussed there:

You can hear the show (and the letter as it is read) in a replay at Ben Burch's White Rose Society later.
