Just Back After 4 Days at Camp Casey: A.M.A.
Monday-Thursday.

Ask me anything, but I'm going to crash in a few minutes, so I might not answer until tomorrow (or the day after that).

I've been to demonstrations a thousand times larger, but this one seemed far more powerful than all of 'em.

If you can go, even for a few hours, please do so. If you can contribute in any way, please do so.

1. How hot was it?
I'm in San Antonio and you can't even go outside right now.

3. It's was around 100 or so, but
this was my first time in southern humidity.

We woke up soaking wet every morning and drank water all day.

9. After 14 years in Texas, I'm still not use to the humidity.
Suffered heat stroke when I first arrived here. Drinking lots of water make all the difference, I have found.

10. We drank so much bottled water that
we felt guilty about all of the empty plastic bottles.

4. It was intensely sad and
equally empowering.

5. Good for you. Get some rest and everybody will bombard you
with questions tomorrow. Peace.

7. I'm signing off now, but: For those of you who sent flowers,
they did not pile up in a corner somewhere. They were very carefully and respectfully placed along side the memorials.

(When I left on the trip, DU-ers were talking about sending flowers to Cindy. We got 'em.)

6. How many people were there?
Are more people joining camp daily?

8. It's a constant flow.
A couple hundred sleep in the ditches and thousands pass through throughout the day.

The media on Wednesday were non-stop.
