I bet Cindy Sheehan will be TIME's "Person of the Year"
One person who stood up against the greatest strategic blunder in US history.

3. I agree, but doubt it will happen.
Time Warner, the parent company of brands like Time, CNN, Warner Brothers, HBO, etc., will not want to upset the "liberal" or salacious content that drives the profit for some of their traditional entertainment subsidiaries. IMO Time and CNN are no longer perceived or treated by TW management as straight or informative News outlets, but they must masquerade as such.

So, I would expect Judy “Baghdad” Miller to be spun from bullshit into journalistic gold from the keepers of this corporation. Another possibility could emerge from the People covers. Of course, if they had any sense of their own coverage, then it would have to be that Alabama teen missing in Aruba. As stupid as that sounds, I can’t rule it out,

And even if Cindy Sheehan does get her due on the cover of the “Man of the Year” issue, it will be a swift boat distortion that maligns her in order to favor the * administration. The piper must be paid. At all costs.

5. well, bad or good, she may just turn out to represent a turning point.
To Time's credit, that title has gone to people who represent something big, for good or ill. Take this one.

7. You must be kidding. They made Hitler and Shrub Person of The Year.
Cindy is way too good to keep that kind of company, and way to good for Time. I used to like Time, but after they made the chimp Person of The Year, I wrote the bastids and told them their trashy rag didn't amuse me anymore.
