Fort Quallis and the Purple Heart Band Aids
Edited on Sun Aug-21-05 07:44 AM by DanCa
Could someone anyone please remind the msm and start reminding the pro war camp that it was the RNC crowd that disgraced every veteran by wearring the purple heart band aids at thier convention durering the campaign last year? I tell you am royally pissed off at the short attention span of this country and what it means to be patriotic.

1. Just thinking about that this morning;
I think the " swift-boating"of Cindy reminded me.... You never question a vets medals....for one it disgraces us all, and for two , it like saying that you don't deserve your retirement because some days you really didn't work hard enough.....the kind of sick mind that would do that (KKK) will go down in history as the lowest of the low...It does me good that the term "swift- boat" has now come to mean slander...thank you Karl for you contributions to the world ( good christian that you are!)

2. That stunt made my old man cry
He was a ten year career marine DI. He said he would never put on a uniform after that stunt. What I think camp casey should do is start lettering the curb said with photos of the repigs wearring them and have words saying "This is what republicans think of our troops."

3. The Order of the Purple Heart
was royally ticked off at the band-aid stunt, and the president of the organization said so recently in an interview just before Cheney addressed the group in Springfield MO. I'm still wondering what, if anything, the guy told Cheney in private.

About the anti-Cindy camp: Let me guess. They are saying thousands are flocking there and only 3 people are at Camp Casey. Mainstream media makes me sick, and I refuse to listen to any cable news at all.

Edited on Sun Aug-21-05 08:24 AM by jedr
If this happens again, all vet groups need to do something about it. Including those who think Deserter-in-Chief is the best thing since sliced bread..( please cut vet benefits again O' great leader we love you so, and you back the troops so well):sarcasm: :
