Gee, the first Pres. Administration with tons of ties to the petroleum
industry...

And gas prices are going to all time highs?

Are they that inept or are they the cause?

2. Can you give some specifics because some people say he doesn't
benefit and I don't' know how to counter that? Even one name of a connection would be helpful.

5. Look at the oil company profits, look at oil futures...
I'll bet if you looked at a list of the major players in the oil futures over the last year you would find a lot of people close to the Bush family.

I don't know how to find that info, but I'll bet there are people here who do know how. I'd love to see if my suspicions are right or wrong in that area.

6. Cheney...Halliburton with profit increases of 200+%; Condi Rice with
Chevron; just look up warprofiteers.com. The list of B* I and Bush II
friends is astounding and disgusting.

3. the petrochemical overseers are happy with their government.
very happy.

just look back to bush/repug quotes from the clinton gas 'crisis' and compare that with the deafening silence now.

clinton, when faced with petroleum issues, tried to do what he could for the country, the people, the economy. bad billy.

bushco only cares about big business and they are doing quite well with their windfalls from war and high petro prices.

7. I tried to warn people in 2000 that having two oil men in the white house
would lead to disaster. How could people not see that it wouldn't be good for our country?

8. "but there is no difference between bush and gore!"
Somehow it just sounds so sophisticated to say that -- I guess your warning just didn't sound cool enough. . .

At anyrate we would not be in this fix w President Gore or President Kerry.

9. Some Repub told me that Halliburton got the job because they
were the only ones with some sort of "special equipment" to do it. I know it sounds like bullshit but has anyone heard this and what do you say to it?
